Musings

“Everybody has grief, we just wear it differently...” – K.

There is a depth to this statement that permeates beyond simple layers to a resounding deepness and vastness, like that of a cavern, that is unparalleled in comparisons to its rivals that may exist. In eight words, this phrase epitomizes our life and death cycles, the chaos that dominates and the peace that reigns in every one of our lives. It is the simple story of human need, of human emotion, of human expression, of human unity. We are who we have become and become who we are meant to be. Its…amazing.

Rumi would say:

In truth everything and everyone
Is a shadow of the Beloved,
And our seeking is His seeking
And our words are His words...
We search for Him here and there,
while looking right at Him.
Sitting by His side, we ask:
'O Beloved, where is the Beloved?'
