Marriage

Did I get your attention? Probably did. No I'm not getting married nor am I looking to get married real soon.

I watched a show about a newly married couple, the bride raised in a liberal/moderate environment and her husband, a conservative man from Pakistan. The differences in perspectives, in what is right and not right (even with the same religion), definitely highlights the growing obstacles and problems couples with distinctly different backgrounds are forced into facing.

So we have a marriage workshop coming up soon, its for singles and couples. Im going, it will help me learn, understand people, mature and become a more thoughtful person. That, is my hope. Pray i achieve them.
